Join the Mindful Life Program Foundations Course, August 21 – October 2, 2018, at our center
in Carbondale, Colorado. Give yourself the gift of this lively and engaging opportunity to learn to live mindfully, with attention and intention, cultivating genuine happiness and a meaningful life. The course teaches the practice of meditation and the practical application of mindfulness in daily life. Empower yourself to integrate the four key areas and skills of mindfulness – attention, values, wisdom and an open heart – into your life in practical, accessible and universal ways.
Attention – Developing attention skills through meditation training, cultivating the skill of attending to what we choose to, and becoming aware of our attention
Values – Discovering what’s meaningful and important to us so that we bear these in mind. Exploring the relationship between values and genuine happiness.
Wisdom –Learning to see clearly, becoming more aware of our perceptions and judgments, and developing skillfulness with ourselves and others in the area of emotions, communication and more.
Open Heart – Developing healthy and beneficial attitudes and interactions through cultivating skills of compassion, loving-kindness, empathic joy and equanimity.
